Makers of Nanban, Hindi remake of 3 Idiots adapted from the best selling Chetan Bhagat book, are trying to bring Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani for the audio launch event. The event, scheduled to be held on the 14th of December in Nehru Stadium, Chennai is expected to be in a grandiose manner.
Although there is no official consent from Khan or Hirani, producers of Nanban are trying to persuade them to come over to boost the film’s publicity. After the audio launch, the movie will hit the screens on January 14, according to sources.

The pretty lass has shot for a Titan watch commercial opposite Aamir Khan as well as Levis jeans commercial opposite Imran Khan.
After the B-town power house Kareena Kapoor, Anjali is the only model/actress to have worked with the mamu-bhanja duo.
But Anjali is definitely making her presence felt by doing something like this just at the beginning of her career. “She’s has sheer determination and great competitive spirit to keep her ground strong out here in this industry,” says a close friend.
Anjali is a former Kingfisher Calendar Girl who discovered modeling as her forte at a very early age. She was spotted by the ace photographer Atul Kasbekar.
Anjali has modeled in New York, Los Angeles and Lakme Fashion week. She will soon be making her debut in a Telugu film called ‘Panjaa’ opposite Pawan Kalyan.
It is a known fact that regardless of the role that Aamir Khan is playing, if his name gets attached to a film then it becomes his own. Though Rajkumar Hirani is one of the very few directors in recent times who has managed to make a film (3 Idiots) entirely as per his vision with no talks of Aamir getting overtly involved with the making, same can’t be said about many other filmmakers in the past who have worked with him. However those associated with his next film ‘Talaash’ insist that there was no requirement of any additional involvement from Aamir other than being in the capacity of an actor.
Says a source, “Of course Aamir likes to step in but then he too does so only if a film requires additional involvement from him. Let me not name these directors but then their track record in films they have made without Aamir speaks for itself. If Aamir would have wanted to involve himself in every film, he would have done so for ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ as well. However you didn’t hear him taking over from Farhan (Akhtar), right? Same holds good for Reema Kagti too who has directed ‘Talaash’.”
Co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani further adds, “Reema is the one who has written the script and Aamir too realises that he is in good hands. She is a great filmmaker so why would anybody want work to take up her task when they themselves have a job to do. ‘Talaash’ is a co-production of Aamir as well and if he wanted, he could have dictated terms. But here, Reema is the captain of the ship. Period.”
Well, this should stop wagging tongues from spreading rumours of any kind even though the film is still six months away.
Since the announcement of ‘Dhoom 3′, the movie had been a favourite of gossip mongers. After much speculation about the cast, the banner Yash Raj Films finalised Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
Talks had been that Katrina has started to shoot for the film, getting trained for some high voltage action sequences. However the production team had rubbished it. Later it was also said that the British beauty will sizzle in a bikini - but then Katrina put down strict condition that she won’t be wearing the two-piece.
Now latest we hear that Katrina will be doing some underwater stunts for few action scenes in ‘Dhoom 3′. Earlier the actress had done scuba diving in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara’. So it wouldn’t be something new for the ravishing Kat and she is said to be very excited and looking forward to do the water diving part again, this time for YRF’s flick.
Wait there is more…. Katrina will also croon for her character in ‘Dhoom 3′. While she will be lending her voice for actor-singer Ali Zafar’s album, this will be first time the actress will sing for a film.

Well it looks like Murugadoss will shortly direct another Khan up north! Post Murugadoss - Aamir Khan’s success venture ‘Ghajini’, it was widely rumoured that Shahrukh Khan will join hands with the director, and it is now official!
Speaking to a media house, director AR Murugadoss has confirmed that he has two scripts ready for Shahrukh Khan who gave his nod for both the scripts! He also added that they aren’t sure of what will go first but the director has kept aside both the films exclusively for Shahrukh Khan so that the duo can work on it once they are free and have finished their respective commitments.
Murugadoss is currently busy with the promotion work of his Tamil Diwali release, ’7aum Arivu’, whereas SRK is busy with promos on ‘Ra.One’ after which he has a number of exciting ventures lined up including ‘Don 2′. It is said that one of the scripts will go on floors by mid next year.
